Top Zimbabwe Hotel Reviews

Bulawayo Rainbow Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Very good hotel with a good and reasonably priced restaurant on the premises. The security staff was very helpful when I wanted to store some currency for safekeeping. The room was clean and had all the amenities that I needed."

Insika Lodge
10/10 Excellent
"Spent 4 nights at Insika after a busy tour. It was the perfect place in Vic Falls to wind down and also get away from the bustle of town while still being close enough to easily get around and sightsee. The Insika shuttle was excellent. There was initial confusion at check-in as we had booked ‘all meals ‘ via Expedia and had assumed that meant BLD; excluding drinks. Upon clarification we actually had Bed, Breakfast and Dinner. Not a problem; perhaps Expedia needs to amend their wording. Other than an initial confusion, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Insika Lodge. Our room was lovely; setting for all rooms was delightful; very tranquil with well tended gardens and a small stream. Fabulous resident family of mongooses who kept us entertained. We ate off the All Day menu and was very happy. Prices throughout were very reasonable. We capped off our stay with Insika’s own Sunset Cruise aboard the ‘Zambezi Vista’. Highly recommend it. The boat has a continuation of Insika’s decor. Our cruise rounded off a wonderful stay in Vic Falls. Would definitely stay again. Thanks Insika staff."

Victoria Falls Rainbow Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed here a few nights. The rooms were clean and room service would check from time to time to see if there was anything else we needed. There is a large restaurant area where you can enjoy both breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The pool is not heated and since we were there in 'winter' season, the water was a bit too chilly for us. There is a bar next to the pool, where you can enjoy yummy refreshments. One night we were surprised by a group of dancers and singers that showed up during our dinner. Their dances were amazing as were the songs. Every day we had organized excursions - Victoria Falls National Park, Chobe National Park in Botswana, a helicopter flight and more. The hotel is well known and perfectly situated for pick-ups and drop offs. We walked to the downtown area with lots of restaurants and always felt perfectly safe. I highly recommend this hotel."

Monomotapa Hotel
8/10 Good
"We spend 2 nights here - one at the start of our journey through Zimbabwe and one at the end. We arrived late and left early, so don't have much feedback about their restaurant, other than the breakfast buffet was excellent. The first night, we were accidentally given a room that had not been cleaned yet. When we pointed this out to the front desk, they immediately brought us to a room that was clean and ready - so quick resolution of an issue. The last night, we had no issues. The wifi worked well, which was key for us as we needed to connect to people in the US. Thank you."
