“This was the most beautiful, graciously hosted, close to home, perfectly appointed, thoughtfully designed getaway gem of a property i have ever had the privledge of enjoying! Will certainly be returning again to experience all the seasons at the Country Nook hosted so kindly by Allison, Kevin and their sweet furbabies. “This is a wonderfully quiet and relaxing space to stay which is huge inside, air-conditioned, well equipped and a joy to holiday in. There is plenty of hot water for the excellent shower within the bathroom. We liked the open plan space which is a total change for us from separate rooms. The surrounding roads are very quiet and easy to drive if you are from overseas and normally drive on the other side of the road. This is not a party location, but a quiet place, surrounded by trees to be……

“Arrived too late to get to the store for groceries. Mark & Paul made sure we had coffee supplies for the morning, and stocked the fridge with necessities. Greeted us upon arrival, had a lovely chat, made us feel right at home. Gracious and considerate hosts. Beautiful property, and exactly what we needed while attending an event in a nearby small town. Would definitely stay again!”

“We had a great time during our stay. The beautifully decorated house feels like a real home and is well maintained. We really appreciated the well equipped kitchen. The pool was a big hit, especially for the kids and the lake is only a short drive away for some fun at the beach. Cassandra is a great host and easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay here again.”

The floor from above is kind of squeaky but the people upstairs where very quiet. “Our big group of 22 had an amazing time at this property on New Year's Eve! Everything listed in the description was accounted for, the house was clean when we showed up, and there was more than enough room for parking. Sali was also great with communication prior to our arrival and during our stay if we had any questions. The only thing we were unaware of was the house uses well water so there is a bit of a lingering smell. Other than that, this is a great property for a large gathering of……

“This property is as advertised. The host was very communicative when we had some small issues. The accessibility if you have stair issues could be challenging but is great and very secure. Centrally located but in a quiet area. Very little noise. Easy to find.”

“Very thankful to this host who was able to get me in early when my accomodations fell though. It is the perfect distance from vic hospital where I was on placement. Lots of space and the kitchen is well equipped. Bedrooms are a bit hot on a warm evening but the fan really helped cool it down.”
