“The room that we were given initially was not clean so the front desk had to move us. The hallways of the hotel were disgusting like they hadn’t been vacuumed in years. I would not stay in this hotel again.”

“Got back from our event at 1015 and was locked out of hotel and room. Waited a very long time for someone to come help at the desk. The lobby was full of people still at 10 - and they were all still waiting to be checker into their rooms. Some has been waiting hours! Check in times are at 3- so these people had reservations and were still waiting for a room at 10 pm. We were there for 3 nights and asked for garbages to be taken out and that never happened. ”

“The breakfast was good. It was a standard continental breakfast. The lady that was helping Friday night was very friendly and helpful. However, the room is advertised as a 4-person room. My older daughter had to sleep in a friend's room as we had a double bed with a pull-out couch. Which was fine until we go to open the pull out and we had no sheets, a majorly stained mattress and it was a twin bed! How were we sleeping 4 people in that room? My kids are 13 and 15 and neither one would fit on……

“The pool was much smaller than anticipated, but I didn't really inspect the photos either, maybe five or six kids could play nicely. The staff was amazing and efficient! The food was okay, hotel breakfast is always hit or miss and we knew that, we still filled up and appreciated the offerings! After checking out, the staff actually called me when they found my glasses in our room, I appreciated that as we were still in Rochester and could return for them! I would stay here again.”

“Very clean contemporary room. Nice decent vanity in bathroom for two people to have room for their personal toiletries. Awesome comfy pillows. Very delicious free light breakfast.”

“Staff was nice. Room was mediocre at best. Stove in kitchenette rusted and unusable. Utensils for cooking had to be purchased (not just in room as advertised). Breakfast was almost nonexistent. ”

“The room was very clean and quiet. We will definitely be back the next time we are at Mayo. They even have a shuttle. Breakfast was hot and delicious. Cody at the front desk made our stay wonderful!”

“Breakfast menu was awesome. Last place we had to pay for parking. Not an issue here. The Subway tunnel is extremely handy and helpful. Would stay here again. My only bummer, No pool. ”

“Fast ride from the airport in Rochester. The staff is outstanding. Lord Essex restaurant has great food. The interior of the hotel is however dated, but hotel and rooms are clean. Closest place to Mayo Clinics, just walk downstairs or take elevator to LL. ”

“We love this hotel! It’s so convenient to the Mayo Clinic Hospital and only 15 mins away from the airport. Everyone we have encountered at the hotel was super helpful and very friendly! We love that they were able to accommodate an early check-in for us since our son was having an allergic reaction due to his medication and needed to rest after a day-long of traveling. We will always stay here when we need to visit the Mayo Clinic for our son’s treatments. ”
