Excellent location. Good value. Probably could do with updating. Staff really helpful.

Overall our stay was great. Found someone’s pool and some pubic hair under the vanity on the floor and there were some stains/marks on the tile wall of the shower but otherwise the room was clean. I ordered uber eats and wrongly assumed that the concierge might have enquired as to who the order was for and for them to call my room. I didn’t expect the staff to bring it up to me but a phone call to let me know my order had arrived would have been appreciated. Otherwise the staff were lovely and couldn’t do more for me.

Definitely did not feel like a 5 star hotel as listed… don’t even include still bottled water etc. Front desk staff not very friendly. Room was clean but definitely feel like they skimped on some of the amenities. Room was listed to have record player and didn’t, only received after calling and asking. Rooftop bar was closed for a private event so I didn’t even get to check that out. Vip drink ticket was only given to me after I asked.

This is a great hotel to stay in if you love Paddington & want to be close to the city. It has great bars & restaurants inside the hotel & on Oxford St. The staff are all lovely & always ready to help . The Olympia is now my go to place to stay in Sydney
