I have traveled to many countries in the world and in the United States. The New Otani Garden Tower Hotel in Tokyo was by far my favorite. The gardens/grounds were beautiful and immaculate. The staff and hospitality were amazing and so clean and fresh with fresh cut flowers each day in The lobby. The hotel was at capacity, but guests never knew it or felt chaos. The staff were so efficient.

I expected a picture perfect stay. The only things that were slightly off:
1. mag-safe phone charger wasn’t working (they replaced it)
2. Breakfast was amazing but waiter never asked me if I wanted any juice.
3. The arrangement of the floors is a little wacky. The 41st floor is reception. You take an elevator to higher floors to reach the guest rooms. To get to fitness center you go to 45th floor for entrance and then a side elevator to 47th floor for actual gym/pool. Felt like solving a maze.
I love the two bar floors. Just like what I remembered from the film “List in Translation.”
