Staff was wonderful everyone was friendly and helpful, they went above and beyond. Hotel on the other hand not that good none of the restaurants were open, only buffet. If the they were open there is too many rules and strict dress code. Men had to have long pants if not your not allowed in. The hibachi you had to go in person at 5:30pm to make a reservation or you could not eat there, when it was empty literally all the time. Beware of an animal all around the property it got into our room twice, once in the middle of the night with the door closed so you must definitely lock it, they know how to open the doors. It was very scary and disgusting. Not a good experience wouldn’t stay at this resort again. Management was not helpful.

So we had very high expectations for this particular Royalton but unfortunately it didn't live up. Yes I understand it was seaweed season but for a 5☆ hotel we expected they will have daily clean up of the beach. We didnt get to bathe in the beach at all which was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel. The lounge chairs were very run down. It was soooo difficult to get dinner reservations even when it was just 4 of us. They keep saying use the app but the app was mainly used by Diamond members so they got through. We had to eat at the buffet basically for every meal. The entertainment was ok. Family friendly. The drinks was good customer service was good. All employees smiled at you. What is the point of room service if they take 45mins to bring a cup of coffee.

The hotel was great a little far from the main airport. I was advised by staff at the hotel that there is a closer airport to the hotel. I would book again

Beautiful property, excellent and friendly staff. The gym was gorgeous! Food is great. Nothing disappointing. The beach is not great, but going there KNOWING to expect that, I wasn't surprised and didn't mind. Pool was clean, warm and spent our days floating away, listening to music.
