Pacific States All inclusive Holidays

We booked in the Ali’i tower due to the location and the perk of a separate check-in desk (the line was loooong at the main check-in desk). The Ali’i tower felt old, run down, and in need of repairs. The separate pool there had several sections of missing tiles. The paint was peeling off our balcony. The beds and pillows were horribly uncomfortable. Our room was filthy at check in, with a disgusting toilet, stained couch, and mold/mildew on the shower heads. We did get a $75 credit because of the state of the room at check in, but we would not stay in this tower again until it is renovated. The resort itself is expansive, with a lot of shops and restaurants, and several pools. We appreciated the shallow lagoon for our toddler, but she didn’t like how rocky the sand there was, so we only went in the lagoon one day. The beach also has more rocky sand than other parts of Waikiki. My husband and i prefer the beach/ocean, but the toddler loved the water slides here. Overall we had a good time, with a lot to do at this resort, but we wouldn’t plan to stay here again. Restaurants: Tropics breakfast (loco moco & French toast) is great, better than their lunch. Chee Hoo pastries are great. Fresco was okay. Aoki teppanyaki, with PJ as our chef, was phenomenal.
