For the price we paid, the quality and condition of the hotel simply did not meet our expectations. The staff seemed friendly when we first arrived, but after we brought up a couple of concerns during our stay, their demeanor seemed noticeably less welcoming. What bothered us most was the condition and overall presentation of the hotel. As soon as the elevator doors opened on the first floor, we were greeted by cleaning equipment and supplies scattered throughout the small, dimly lit hallway leading to our room. We had to maneuver around everything just to get to our room, which was not a great first impression. Unfortunately, things didn’t improve once we entered the room. There was a noticeable foul odor that seemed to be coming from the carpet, which also had visible stains. We noticed the smell when we first arrived, but it became even more apparent when we returned from dinner later that evening. For a hotel at this price point, we expected a much higher standard of cleanliness, presentation, and overall room quality. Unfortunately, our experience simply did not reflect the price we paid.
