We stayed in Room 杉 on with a private open-air bath on April 15, and this was our second time visiting this property—our last stay was about 8 years ago. It was such a joy to return.
The room was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. Both meals were absolutely delicious, with the clams being a definite highlight! We also noticed some thoughtful upgrades since our last visit, like the addition of remote-controlled lighting and TV, as well as extra blinds around the private bath area for added privacy.
The staff were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout our stay. We arrived on a rainy day, and they kindly arranged to pick us up near the bus station, which we really appreciated.
It was also a lovely touch that they offer complimentary drinks and snacks in the lobby. On top of that, we received a gift card with our booking, which we enjoyed using at the gift shop.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend this hotel. We’re already looking forward to hopefully returning again in the near future.

Room was clean but slightly outdated and not as big as we had thought it would be, especially for one shared with 5 adults and a baby. Staff were polite and were always quick to accommodate the baby.

We were told the rooms are all smoking room. The cigarette smell was strong in our room so that was something we don’t really appreciate. The onsen facility was ok. The best was the one shared with the hotel next door.

オススメしません。
まず、ご飯が1泊２食付きと書かれていたので、鶏鍋やすき焼きなどが選べると思ったら、強制的に鶏鍋の予約になっていた。 結局アップグレードして（一人2000円追加）すき焼きにしたが…びっくりする位量が少ない!! ハチ北の他の宿に泊まってすき焼きを食べたときの半分ほどのお肉しかなかった。（画像で3人分です他にはご飯しか ありません。） そしてお肉が硬かった。 あれは本当に但馬牛でしょうか…？ きっと但馬牛でもかなり安い部位なんだろうな…。 これでは楽天とかの方が安いので損をした気分です。 あと、卓球などができる憩いスペースがあったんですが、こちらにあるコタツ、ストーブ（コンセントが抜かれていて届く場所にない） ...
