Great stay at the City Suites Taipei Nanxi - check-in and check-out were quick and seamless. I was given a great corner room on the 11th floor which was spacious, clean with separate shower, bath and toilet. The bed was really comfortable. It had all the amenities you would expect including a fridge and kettle. The breakfast, which was served on the third floor, was very good - also a really nice seating area where you could relax and enjoy a tea/coffee. All the staff were extremely professional, polite and helpful - many thanks to everyone for making it a great stay. Would definitely stay there again.

The best location when you travel in Taipei! The hotel staffs are very polite and kind. The room is very clean and well kept.

Breakfast - good spread, include Japanese selection like soba, natto, and small side dishes like onsen egg, cold toufu, seasoned octopus. Also provide cakes which most Taiwan hotels do not include in the breakfast buffet Location - superb because there’s a mall right next to hotel which has shopping and food. Also can go to metro, AirPort Express and HSR via basement Negative: the overall lighting is very dim, in lobby, breakfast dining room and hotel rooms. There’s statues at some common areas which is quite scary due to the dim lighting. Hotel rooms also not ideal due to bathing area is open and only using a curtain. Bathing is using a round tub which is quite high, not good for elderly to climb in and out. In winter, bathing would be very cold since the space is open

This stay at Regent Taipei was an extremely satisfying experience overall. The front desk staff were warm, professional, and efficient, making me feel the high standard of five-star service from the moment I arrived. The room was spacious, comfortable, and very clean, with great attention to detail in its upkeep. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options, which was definitely one of the highlights of the stay. Nice location and friendly staff. Great breakfast choices and qualities. Downside is slow internet speed, sluggish browsing. Guest room seems a bit aged and needs some renovation.

This hotel is definitely underrated. It is at least a four or 4 1/2 star. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and quiet and very up-to-date. The staff is helpful and the location is excellent directly across from the train station the Shillin market a short walk away. So many food options to choose from. Even a bar almost next door.
