“The room was okay, the bed was dirty the floors not great either. The fridge stunk !! I booked a room, upon arrival i was informed my bed was already sold to someone else and was forced to pay an additional fee for an upgrade as that was all that was available. Was told it's that or cancel the booking even though the email stated no refunds !! I had roaches running around and felt stuff crawling on me. Never again !! R550 paid for a terrible night of little sleep and i could not even……

“The trial of collecting your own drinking water from the lobby. And they have the audacity to say 'it's free'. A bit primitive and arrogant to treat customers this way. 'it is because of the drought'?? Pardon, ten people died in record floods weeks before. Treat customers with respect please. Now the staff are fantastic, bar restaurant and reception went the extra mile despite some silly rules.”

“Long story short avoid staying here, 1) room smell as smoke, solution was an air freshener 2) shower was clogged so water flow into room 3) unsafe area, particularly at night - luckily for us was only one sleepless night but hope no one else dies the same mistake”

“We made coffees and fried eggs and toast. The room was well equipped for that. The people at the front were very nice and helpful. It was great to get our towels changed and a clean up every other day. Overlal, the area was great! Itfelt safe and there were lots of coffee places and restaurants close by.”

“Overall, great accommodation. Nice place to stay. However, unfortunately we came on a day they had a power issue. We checked in before 1700. After a long flight, with no power, we had no hot water to shower, no lights to see in the room, unable to watch tv, and unable to plug in our devices. The staff was apologetic. We were able to shower at their sister hotel at 2200 after inquiry. Power finally back on at 2300. We moved rooms the following day for our separate booking. Although the staff……
