“I travel to Bocagrande, Cartagena at least once every year and usually stay at another hotel, but during this visit I decided to try Gio Hotel for a change. Unfortunately, my experience was mixed and ultimately disappointing. On the positive side, the location is excellent very convenient for getting around and the pricing is fair for the area. The lobby is beautifully decorated, and I really enjoyed the free pool table available for guests. Breakfast options were limited, but the food itself……

“Overall the property was extremely nice. Very clean and the staff are amazing!! Restaurant was excellent and the breakfast buffet was very robust. The only compliant we have is that the water temp was barely Luke warm. Made taking hot showers difficult.”

“I had an amazing stay at the Hotel Playa Club. I liked everything from this hotel. Hotel Personnel made feel like I was home.”

“This place needs work, water pressure in the shower was terrible, rooms are tiny, TV never worked, the room fridge was pretty much room temperature.. other than that, the staff was great, AC in the room was great, complimentary breakfast was good.”
