“We stayed in March or 2024. The cabin was nice but the lake was very dry. No way to do any fishing or water related. I just wish they would have told us before the trip that the lake around them was bone dry and not at all what the pictures show. The staff was very friendly and we still had a great time. The tram ride is pretty cool. Rooms are what you would expect for a cabin made to house mountain bikers and off roaders. ”

“I stayed at the Lonely Oak with my two teenage children. I had a few questions before my arrival, and the staff were quick to respond and very helpful. The space is beautifully decorated, and in a very quiet part of the countryside. It is close enough to Llano if we needed something, but far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. We actually stayed there the night before the solar eclipse, and totality was to occur at 1:37pm the next day. I was trying to figure out what to do between……

“There was a problem with the thermostat that made it impossible to turn on the AC. I identified the problem early in the morning and called. I was given instructions to do something I already had done. I took a video a sent it, proving the problem beyond any reasonable doubt. Yet, I had to navigate an endless texting stream telling em to try things I had already shown that I did. The property managers did this for so long that by the time the maintenance man was sent, he could not replace the……

“Nice property. Would prefer king beds. Garbage disposal didn't work and the customer support person wasn't interested in having it fixed, so one side of the sink was unusable.”

“We had a lovely, relaxing time. The house was well stocked with everything needed, switches and cabinets were nicely labeled, and coffee was provided which was a nice touch. The owner was very responsive to my questions, and kindly accommodated my late checkout request. The home is at the back of a cove, great for sticking our feet in, but the park with open swimming was only 5 minues away. Lots of deer, and it was fun to watch them play. Our family had a nice time.”
