“Sabine was an amazing host! We were greeted immediately, given an upgrade, and orientated nicely to room and entire area. She continued to assist us throughout our stay. Whenever we needed her, she seemed to appear. It was awesome.”

“Room and staff were lovely! Location is right in the center of town and has an amazing restaurant. Beware, bring earplugs as the walls are paper thin. Would definitely stay again, but with the noise in mind. ”

“We were in apartment 6 and there was mold/mildew on the baseboards and in the bathroom. Upon entry, there was a musty smell. The bedding was damp. We ended up going to a different hotel for the 2nd night of our stay. We would not recommend The Old Dispensary to stay at unfortunately. ”

“The staff were less than helpful, There was no car parking anywhere near the hotel. It was student accommodation and not suitable for mature aged travellers. We chose not to stay here and found another motel.”

“The owners are very responsive and super friendly. The location is very ideal; less than 10 minutes to a boardwalk along the water, and a 20 minute walk to Youghal's main strip. Also a convenient pub right across the street. Great value for the price, ESPECIALLY if you are toting along a family like I am.”

“Helpful staff at the front desk. Good to have a community room with kitchen available, stove, kettle, tv, couches, Needs more utensils for eating meals. Helpful to have tea bags, milk, sugar, toiletries etc at the front desk. Very loud banging of doors that Interrupts sleep. Needs silent closures for doors. Needs clothes/ towel hanger in bathroom. Price is too high for very loud noise with doors banging and an interrupted sleep . ”
