"Great location in Manhattan. Close enough to a subway station to easily get to other parts of Manhattan. Quiet neighborhood especially on weekends, with great options nearby for coffee and breakfast. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and courteous. The room felt like an average hotel room. The bathroom felt a bit smaller than other hotels I’ve been in. The a/c in the room made quite a bit of noise when it kicked in. "For this level of lodging /-$200/night (ie. Hyatt House, Hilton Garden, Spring Hill Suites Marriott, etc.), Hampton Inn Newark Airport was a winner. Free airport shuttle, free breakfast, free wi-fi, premium bedding, excellent mattresses, modern interior, cleanliness, friendly staff, convenient location & good value. Only downside for me was location next to freeway is quite noisy, especially overnight. Would stay here again though. Recommended."

"Hotel is older, rooms are good size for being in New York city. Good customer service but no daily room service. Good sausage but hash brown don't feel fresh and crunchy. Love the big selection for breakfast though. Roof top patio is not inviting and well kept. Carpet looks old"

"We loved the Pod Brooklyn SO much! They were so accommodating. They let us check in early and check out late. They also held our luggage after check out so we could get lunch. Great staff, clean room, great first experience. We will be staying here again!"
