“Old property in need of a deep cleaning and general repairs and maintenance. Breakfast buffet was embarrassingly comical, ticket required for military rationed overcooked eggs, sausage and undercooked hash browns. No silverware or cups… calamity of errors.”

“We were passing through and only stayed one night. Hotel is a little dated on outside but was well maintained and such large rooms with excellent dining area where we had breakfast. The view beautiful. I would definitely stay here again!”

“We were thrilled to see that, unlike other Best Westerns we stayed at the past 2 weeks, the very low 1960 models toilets were replace with taller ones. The layout of the room was excellent providing adequate bathroom counter space. The wet bar area was a plus as was the small dining table and two chairs. The TV was easy to use and channels were easy to navigate. The room was clean and the Luxury Vinyl Flooring jn the bedroom was a positive change allowing for easy cleaning//disinfecting. ……

“A great little place. I’d enjoyed a stay here one time before—on a Monday night. This time it was a Wednesday so The Laurel was open! I checked in at 7:45 so only 15 minutes before closing. I walked down the stairs, they gave me a table, I had a fantastic cocktail and very very tasty steak bites with nice accompaniment. They made sure I got a shot at a second drink before closing as well. The rooms are delightfully furnished and the bathrooms are a standout feature. As they mention on premises,……
