"We are in Vietnam for the first time and Ha Long Bay is likely a once in a lifetime opportunity for us. I read countless reviews and watched videos all recommending genesis. We booked the 2 night cruise so that we weren’t rushed and we cannot recommend it enough. Everyone that was leaving after 1 night was wishing they stayed 2. The staff are incredible, activities optional and the food is excellent and plentiful. You won’t regret booking this cruise "

"First I must say the negatives here are minor and the customer service was most definitely 5 stars. Quick with the negatives; housekeeping put a torn sheet on the bed. Pet peeve of mine I hate to see. There is no shower stall but a large tub almost 3 feet deep. Treacherous to get in and out of; no shower curtain; room gets flooded and the floor is slick; not a fan. That’s it. Everything else was amazing people skills by the front desk and the dining room. They all went above and beyond to see...

"Beautiful property on a lovely little island with easy access to Ha Long Bay. Free bikes to ride around the island, and easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the marina. The service with Ms. Kim and Mr. Phoenix was outstanding!"

"Although the room in this hotel was great, the average rating was due to the staff's lack of control and enforcement of basic common sense rules of a hotel. They had several tours staying at the hotel, and the tour members were running amok. The noise they were making was unbearable. When we first entered the lobby there was a member of the group with a bullhorn singing and carrying on. This continued on the various floor in the night, and very early morning with no consideration of other...

"When we arrive to the hotel we tried to check-in. This ended Up being impossible for the 2 men behind the country to make happen. We tried showing booking confirmation and everything, but they did not care. Long story Short, we ended Up staying a another hotel, since the language barrier and the lack og service was just too much."
