“I picked this hotel for the waterpark inside. We walked to Mall of America everyday we were there, and would go back to the hotel to swim and relax. The pool was quiet at night, and we had a balcony off the 2nd floor. I was quite surprised at how quiet it was and dark once the curtain was closed. Their kitchen was having renovations so breakfast was grab and go, which we did not care for, so we walked to MOA for all 3 meals. “Hotel was ok. Restaurant was a mixed bag. The gentleman working was amazing, but the food was mid and institutional. Room was weird. It was a nice looking, but generic hotel room. Furniture was uncomfortable and beds were too firm. Pillows were like sand bags. The bathroom was fine. The televisions were meh. It felt like the room isn’t meant to be hung out in, in anticipation of expecting guests to be doing something outside of the hotel and then just sleeping at the hotel only. ”

“Great room in a unique boutique hotel with a fascinating history. Breakfast was nothing special but a notch above average. Room had a couple minor issues with shower door. The handles were loose and the glass had moved slightly in the top hinge, preventing the for from closing completely. Both of these could be fixed with simple tools (Phillips screwdriver and a hex wrench). Hotel needs to pay attention to these details to maintain a reputation as a top notch facility.”
