"Location of the hotel is absolutely convenient! Transportation, famous restaurants and convenience stores etc are all nearby. Save so much time on transport. Size of the room was decent. Staff were nice. Simple continental breakfast(bread with juice) were included. "

"The main problem was at check in. They have a system that scans one's body passport, which is probably a good thing… when it works. At previous APA hotels I’ve stayed at this system has never worked. When this happens, the attendant simply does what needs to be done at their terminal and all is okay. A slight delay but no big deal. Not this time. Again, as expected, the system didn’t work. The young man kept trying it, over and over. He phoned people and tried again. And again. I tried to just remain calm. But after ten minutes I was frustrated and impatient. FINALLY, he gave me a form to fill in, which I did, and he gave me my room key. Such a pain for what should be a simple problem. He needs some training."

"Great location - less than a minute walk from Hakata train station and metro. In a side street, so away from all the pedestrian traffic and noise. Super quiet. Room was clean and even includes a massage chair. Bathroom was large and good supply of warm water. Self-check in and out - kinda awkward not interacting with staff. Lobby has amenities to take."

"Check out is 10am. Once you check out, you are not allowed to stay and sit in the lobby, or they will change you extra."

"The tiny room was very clean. Reception, elevators, hall etc everything was clean. The only problem was the electric kettle. It seemed as if it was not washed for ages. The staff, like all the staff in all the hotels in Japan, are like robots. They will do what the rule book says, nothing more, nothing less. Smiles are free though (thank God). Overall, the hotel is very nice. It's very close to Hakata station. There are a couple of convenience stores and a lot of restaurants in the vicinity. There was a coin-operated washer/dryer at the end of the hall. There's a microwave and a vending machine too. For the amount I paid, the room was extremely tiny. "
