“ I have a few comments regarding our stay. I wasn’t expecting a five star but in some ways a 3 star was a little overrated. We were greeted by the most loveliest helpful receptionist. He was 5*. It went downhill from there I’m afraid. The room was ‘ok’ but we got what we paid for. When returning from night out the night receptionist was 1* at best. He cod barely converse. “There was a good selection at the Breakfast buffet and the cooked breakfasts were delicious. I particularly recommend the Scottish smoked salmon with scrambled eggs. The room was clean. The hand shower performed badly, I found it a faff to get the temperature right and the water pressure was very poor. With no shower curtain the floor became very wet. The creaking floorboards wer atmospheric but not conducive to a good sleep especially when neighbours next door and above got up several……
