San Marcos 3 Stars Hotels

"I have stayed for years in Inn by the Sea La Jolla overall it is a very good hotel. However, now they have a breakfast to your room option. I ordered the oatmeal and coffee and was sadly disappointed in the oatmeal and coffee, both very bad. I thought I was supposed to pay $20 but they have several added charges written in very small writing which brought the price up to $30!!! Spoke to the manager and complained, he was very nice and did not charge me. I do NOT recommend the new breakfast...

"La Jolla Cove Suites was great stay, great service, great ocean view we can hear the seals from our room. Ocean is across the street from hotel and lots of things to do."

"Rooms are a little run down, carpet in rooms could use shampooing to freshen-up scent in room, and for cleanliness...especially if pets were in the room. I've stayed here many times, and when it was the Ramada Inn. Also little couches and lounge chairs in rooms need to be cleaned and freshened between guests..Overall nice place. "

"I thought this place was clean and quite though I did need more cups in my hotel room and more toilet paper I went down to the lobby to ask and no one was their unfortunately and the room phone did not work but other than that I thought it was good"
