"This was an amazing stay. I wanted to feel lost on a desert island while retaining some creature comforts. This hotel was just perfect for that. Breakfast was great, rooms big and clean, they even gave me an electric bike free of charge and all the water papers gear I needed. I will definitely come back if I can. "

"I ha e been staying at Blue Ocean for nearly 9 months while in Ishigaki for businesss. Blue Ocean is the perfect apartment-like stay with kitchen facility, plenty of space and a greay view of the ocean. The people working there are fantastic and willing to help me with anything I need, even though my Japanese is quite limited. I highly recommen Blue Ocean for a stay in Ishigaki!!! "

"The view was excellent from the 7th floor Teeda Tower. Our double room was enormous compared to any other hotel we’ve stayed at in Japan. I love how they offer fresh drinks and towels daily. The onsite onsen was a nice feature. I didn’t love the restaurant, the old-times CFL lighting or the fact that having our room cleaned was going to cost extra."

"Convenient location ~ 5 min walk from the ferry terminal (which also has a bus stop for the shuttle bus from the airport). Standard (excellent) breakfast buffet. You can borrow a beach towel, and then just drop it in a bin in the lobby (very helpful for beach trips). Good wifi. Complimentary ice pops and juice available in the lobby. "

"Spacious rooms, well equipped, though the rest of the hotel is bereft of any amenities, but never mind. We learned to appreciate the place. A bit remote for those without a car, but we managed to enjoy with the help of the bus timetable. Very friendly small team of staff who try their best to make up for shortcomings of the place. Breakfast was charged as an extra, but it was nice and worth it. As said, the room is vast and comfy and there's a little pantry in it, but we wish the little backyard...

"The property itself is very nice with a lot of amenities, including a washing machine in the room and a communal dryer guests could use. The staff working there was kind and friendly. The bed was comfortable and the property is very near another hotel, which a city bus stops at regularly, so it was very convenient to catch the bus from the nearby location. A very beautiful beach is also very accessible from the property with the water even being visible from the balcony. There is only staff...

"また泊まりたいとは思いません。お部屋の洗浄度は良くて商店街から徒歩5分程度なので便利ですが、スタッフの態度が酷過ぎてこの評価にしました。 予約は4名、お布団4セットでお願いしていたのですが部屋に着いたら布団とタオルが2セットしかありませんでした。スタッフに連絡したらとんでもない態度されて、私の予約方法が間違っていたと怒鳴りつけられました。布団を欲しいなら1セットに対して3300円の追加料金が発生するなど、とにかく客としてこれほど失礼な喋り方されたのは初めてでした。 最終的にはそちらの予約受け取り内容に誤りがあったと謝罪をしてきて布団とタオルセットを2個持ってきてくれましたが、最初の対応時の態度があまりにも酷くてここにはもう泊まりたくないと思いました。"

"朝食が地元の食材もちりばめられていて、ボリュームも多くおいしかったです。建物に少々年季は入っている感じですが、お部屋はキッチン付きで広々、コスパはよろしいと思います。ランドリーは混んでいましたが無料でした。 全館喫煙とのことで1泊目のお部屋で具合が悪くなりましたが、 2泊目に消煙処理をしたお部屋に変えていただいて無事にあとの2泊しました。とても感じが良い対応でした。"

"I was surprised how new the building was. The room was nicely set up. Location is very convenient in town with all groceries and eateries. Very comfortable stay. The only minor request would be if the hot water is hot but not boiling hot and you cannot adjust it. Great value for money. I will stay there again for my next visit."
