"If you are looking for a heavenly place, surrounded by nature, calm and simple, do not hesitate for a moment. The Whales island resort is a small paradise of about twenty cottages. The staff is very courteous, friendly and pleasant. The cottages are spacious and comfortable, in all simplicity. Note however that there is no air conditioning, they are compensated by fans. "The Good: The beach is awesome. Gentle slope, gentle waves, clean clear water. The Bad: EVERYTHING ELSE No ground transfers, no free shuttle, and no taxi service in town! The ocean view room offered was a view from atop a steep cliff. We had asked if their unit was handicap accessible. To be fair, one of the rooms itself would have been, but not the restaurant, the pool or the beach.
