"We had a nice stay. It’s about 2 blocks to the beach. There is no lift and it’s 3 stories high! Rooms aren’t too big. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was great!! Paul is a great cook! We did have a problem locating the place. We also got there late and Paul wasn’t too happy, but the next morning he was ok. Pictures on the web are accurate. Great place for young and young at heart couples to stay "

"An excellent hotel . We had a very large room and super bathroom, complete with big modern bath and separate sizeable shower. There were some issues on the day of our arrival, including a kettle which required immediate replacement, a television with non-working guide and - a most unusual problem never previously encountered - the same television set could not be switched off when we went to bed. "A really good hotel that had great facilities. Two restaurants with excellent choices. Two indoor pools - one just for hotel guests (the other for guests in the lodges). Several comfy rooms for chilling. Lovely grounds for walks and close enough to walk to Brodick. Everywhere is decorated to a very high standard. The staff are a mix of local and world wide - all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The whole hotel is dog friendly. Highly recommend "

"Lovely stay in The Piersland. Bed great, shower good. Wifi grand and an excellent breakfast. All the basics covered well in a beautiful setting. Charm personified and the staff complimented this perfectly. Had a lovely evening meal too. Will definitely return."

"Great stay at a lovely hotel, lovely welcome on arrival, evening 3 course meal was lovely (complements to the chef!!), bed super comfortable, shower was hot and had amazing pressure (needed after a long days work), breakfast choice was great with the Scottish breakfast being the perfect size for a hard day back at work. 100% be back for sure."

"We spent 3 nights in the St Ninians flat upstairs. The view across the Clyde was fabulous, possibly better than the downstairs flats. The house is well placed for travelling around the island with bus stops nearby. It was kept very clean and the beds were very comfortable and the heating came on when we needed it.
