“Average stay at a good location close to franschhoek town and also the tram station. Bed sheets didn’t feel clean the first night and we had to request for a change on the second. There’s a small pool however we didn’t really get a chance to use it because there are only a limited amount of beach chairs and guests seemed to be lurking around and jumping to it whenever one became available. Management should consider having a few more chairs there. Staff were very friendly and helpful. ”

“Very warm Welcome anf beautiful room. Very clean and well equipped. For example a lot of European sockets, a French Press and Fridge. Breakfast was delicous with granola and Greek Yoghurt and a menu from which to order a variety of freshly prepared items like avocado toast, omelets or bacon and egg toast. Safe neighbourhood and the main Street of Franschhoek with many great shops and restaurants just a two minute walk away. Will definitely return. ”

“Our family of 10 adults had an incredible three-night stay at Sunset Farm—it was truly one of the highlights of our trip through the Cape. The farmhouse was massive, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with every bedroom having its own private bathroom. The staff even arranged the beds to perfectly suit our group. Paul, Katie, and the entire team were wonderful hosts. They were always friendly, helpful, and available when needed, while still giving us complete privacy. My young adult……

“Great location, a few minutes walk from town. Beautifully decorated and helpful staff who made sure we had breakfast items in our room bc we had to leave at 5:55am. The sit down breakfast was huge with a starter of meats, cheeses, croissants that my wife said were like being in France, ‘to die for’ then eggs Benedict or any style you like. Comfortable beds with heated blanket.”

“Dino is a wonderful host. The common area is beautiful, warm, and welcoming. There were fires burning in the evening and morning to allow us to warm up from chilly weather. We stayed in room 1 and it was gorgeous. Breakfast was really excellent with lots of options. One unexpectedly important feature was the close proximity to town allowing us to walk in both directions. The grounds were so beautiful. The view on our porch of the sun rising was spectacular.”
