“The Shangri La is an absolute gem of a B&B. We selected it because we were looking for a quiet place far from the large hotels . What we actually found was a welcoming home, not just a functional accommodation. The facilities are great (hammock, pool, hot tub, beach towels etc). “If you want peace and relaxation, or something away from the normal tourist areas, this is the spot! 30-40 minute drive to get back to town, and easy drice to learn driving on the left! We rented the penthouse so we could enjoy the rooftop, and it was totally worth it! Wake up and watch the sunrise, at night watch the sunset and the sky opens up for hours of shooting stars! “We very munch enjoyed our stay at Vida! It’s great to be away from the hustle of 7 Mile Beach. The restaurant on site was wonderful and the service was great. Vida offers complimentary workout classes during your stay so I enjoyed yoga on the roof. We biked to Cracked Conch with the bikes they offered as well. While the cabs add up going into 7 mile beach area I wouldn’t trade staying here for that. We hope to come back!”
