"Room interiors are dated and poorly maintained, mildew all around the sunken onsen tub. Wifi in room kept dropping and was difficult to establish a connection. Staff service across the entire hotel was the worst! Front desk staff refuses to explain any of the activities available for guests when asked, shoved the program sheet at me told me to read myself instead. Restaurant staff would not entertain a special request to order fried rice, told me to order a full child's set menu and plain rice...

"We had an impromptu overnight stay from Taipei and found this place on the Expedia app. The place was very clean, the staff very solicitous, the breakfast buffet was inexpensive and delicious. Best of all, my family absolutely loved the pools."

"Very homely minsu with a superb breakfast the traditional Taiwanese way. Room was big and comfortable with fabulous sheets- bed size was king size for us in the quadruple room. We stayed for 5 nights and used it as a base for travelling around Yilan.The lobby was as well comfortable with an indoor playground with ball pits for kids. "Interesting outside decor. Mattresses and pillow are firm. :D Mini-split cools down room fast. It has elevator. :o Funky bathroom but usable. I think it doubles as a sauna, there is heating for bathroom. Not sure. McDonalds breakfast! Had to take off outside shoes before going up. Evidence of previous family in room, since wall still had crayon markings on wall D: Great for family and couples. Cutesy design of room and amenities. I like dolphins and whales! Overall good rating."
