「Air conditioning work great and the hotel is in a great location」

「You get what you pay for. It is close to not so developed areas so you do need to walk around 5 minutes to get to the beach. Food is ok, gym is a joke, a lot of lizards but thats out of their control. Overall not a bad place if your looking for a hotel less than $100 a night,」

「Location on Kendwa beach was the best! Beautiful swimming, restaurant with beach view and stunning sunsets right from your beach chair. You can walk to other restaurants and the beach was safe for walking. Patrols also ensured beach merchants did not get too close. Wifi was spotty at times. Room was comfortable, though sometimes AC would go out due to spotty electricity issues which is all over zanzibar so not the property. A wonderful and easy stay after safari!」

「The service at the Neela was unparalleled. The staff were unfailingly pleasant and helpful, but never fawning or in the way. Make sure to visit not only their downstairs cafe, but also their rooftop restaurant. Highly recommend.」

「Booked superior seaview room and seaview window is at toilet which is higher than normal people eye level. Double check if breakfast is included in the booking in hotels.com as the website offer two breakfast option with different price which is a bit confusing. Tried to contact hotel to confirm via booking website and official hotel email address a few time but no luck.」

「The room was large and very clean. The staff were very helpful.」

「Extremely slow check in and “room assignments.” Location of bedroom was in a place very noisy all day and all night long. Besides, we had to sleep with the window open (which didn’t help with the noise either) as the smell of the room was very strong (probably a chemical for the mosquitoes). Breakfast was ok. Location was very good close to Stone Town little streets and port.」
