“We have been returning to vallorcine apartments for a few years now. Unfortunately we feel they are not run as well as they were a few years ago. There is no one on reception, the bakery is very low on stock - can’t even get milk there. The pool is not heated for long enough so it’s too cold to stay in for longer than 5-10minutes. The sauna is only open from 4 pm and then crowded with young children trying to get warm after the cold pool! The WiFi is very poor and there was only one English……

First impressions were fabulous - from the moment we arrived in the Chalet stepping thro’ the imposing front door fatigue slipped away as our hosts greeted us with a professional, courteous and warm welcome. Before we could blink we were snuggled up in front of the fire mesmerised by the Swiss Alps drinking Champagne accompanied by freshly baked homemade treats. The lounge area interior design was warm, chic and mesmerising - everywhere you sit there is a view onto the……

“Really clean and presentable. Modern apartment with nice kitchen, living area and bedrooms… balcony was a nice touch. Lots of paid parking available underneath complex. Early check in wasn’t an issue. Pool and hot tub were abit on the colder side for my liking. Nice sauna and steam room. Gym also available. Spacious ski locker available with the room. ”

“We had a lovely 3 bedroom apartment and the Spa/swimming pool was very nice. Only negatives were lots of things in the kitchen were dirty and had to be washed up before use and that for the huge price we paid there were very strict rules (with charges for if it wasn’t done) on getting rid of the rubbish (having to take it up to the village centre) and cleaning the kitchen before departure. I would expect to this in certain self catered accommodation but we spent ALOT of money for the apartment……

“One of the most accessible ski hotel/residences we have ever stayed at. The carpets to the learner slopes are no more than 30 paces from the boot room door. The property has lifts to and from the ski school, the boot room lockers are enormous (plenty of room for helmets, boots, gloves, skis, poles - all heated) The spa facilities are also super accessible from the lifts with robes and slippers in each room. We didn’t eat at the hotel as we were in the residence but the drinks menu and lobby……
