“Everything was amazing. The room was outstanding, beautiful, comfortable, spacious with great attention to detail. The bath was the focal point of the room and I didn’t want to get out of it. Even provided locally sourced luxury toiletries, perfect for a relaxing bath. The rest of the hotel had a cozy atmosphere with lovely decor. Staff were friendly with a relaxed yet still professional service. Just what we love, a quality establishment but without any pretentiousness! The food was another……

“Amazing stay, the staff were all superb especially Emma at reception and Harry the Restuarant manger. Highly recommend for couple stay, dogs allowed too! The dining room tasting menu was incredible with 9 courses and different experiences ”

“Enjoyed 2 nights here and love the character of the building and the romantic double room was lovely and warm on what was a very cold evening! Staff really helpful and friendly, easy free parking and in 15 mins we were in town by foot. There’s a lovely rum Bar 5 mins away too (altho a small bar onsite too!) and restaurants within 10 Mins if need. Most 15 mins. I like the fact you don’t have to pay for a cooked breakfast if you don’t want it and just continental. Couple of things i could nit……

“Stunning visit- stayed just for 1 night but could not have been better. Upgraded room to Suite which was stunning. Flawless service, great food, and the Spa was brilliant. Thanks to all the team, really special stay. Feedback note- some confusion between kitchen and hotel services as to whether breakfast was included- kitchen disputed whether it was included which is a little awkward. Apart from this very minor note, was fantastic. ”

“All very good! Room/bathroom lovely and very clean. The ambiance around the hotel felt good. I ordered room service, my food was very good. Bar prices are also reasonable, I must say, cheaper than around Oxfordshire! so that was very well received by myself and good quality alcohol it was indeed.”
