「Booked a valley castle room w king bed for one night in late Sep. Room was very clean with comfy n up to date decor. Room was big enough and soundproof quality was good. Big garden surrounded hotel n we took a pleasant walk the next day. Should have stayed for one or two nights so as to enjoy swimming pool and other facilities. The historical building was well maintained. Very pleasant stay 」

「Unfortunately the hotel had some problems in the kitchen which impacted very badly on the menu for dinner, the breakfast, service (so slow) and noise. It would have been better to fix the problems before reopening or to have had the courtesy to let us know in advance what the situation was. I would have stayed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing as I’ve had lovely stays here in the past. 」

「As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Brad who offered to carry my bags and explained a lot of information about the local area, and said if I needed anything to just let him know. The building is easily accessible from the car park with the use of a key card which allows you to come and go at all hours. 「We had a wonderful stay.
The room was perfect and loved wandering through the gardens and nearby walks despite the weather. Cosy evening by the fireplace, red wine and board games. The Christmas decorations were tasteful and festive.
Fantastic team of staff and look forward to returning.」

「Janet and Martin were the absolute best hosts! From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, they were so attentive, helpful, and a true pleasure to be around. This was really one of the greatest vacation stays of my entire life, and that's due to the dedication of Janet and Martin as well as the cozy, warm atmosphere they've created at their inn. 「Pleasant hosts who are helpful. Clean, spacious cottage with a well-supplied kitchen and comfortable king size bed.
Private parking next to the cottage is convenient.
We had some difficulty with the heat because it is on timers. We find that inconvenient. Our only other problem was a slight but persistent sewer odor in the bathroom. 」
