"The hotel was decent for the price – clean and fairly comfortable. However, the biggest downside was the lack of public transport connection, which made getting around without a car quite difficult.

"We loved being able to hop on the tram within feet of the hotel. Also loved the great selection of dining options near by. Our 4th floor canal view room was lovely! "

"The Grand Hotel Amrâth is an incredible historic hotel. It is very centrally located near Central train station. My room on the 3rd floor had high ceilings and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the canal. Absolutely gorgeous! They have many original museum pieces from when they were a shipping house in the early 1900’s. I truly enjoyed my stay. I would say my only complaint would be that they did not have a ramp to bring luggage up the front stairs. The bellman does help if he is waiting in front but if not, pretty challenging. Have some great videos of my room but unfortunately won’t upload on the site "
