"Beautiful place, perfect for family vacation. Car is a must (9-10 minutes drive to the nearest town). The WIFI was sometimes unstable. Recommendation to management: add a full size mirror either at house entrance or one of the bedrooms."

"We completely enjoyed our stay so much so that my wife and I agreed that the next time we visit Amsterdam, we’ll stay here again, even though it’s 30 minutes or so outside the city. The staff was amazing, friendly and courteous. We will be back."

"My stay was fantastic! The location was amazing, and the staff was friendly. I opted out of the breakfast, which was a mistake. I ended up adding it on later. I thought that I would be able to grab something at a local café, but nothing opened until around 10am. This could’ve been because of the time of year I went. I was glad to add the breakfast on as they start serving early and I’m an early riser. I enjoyed being able to walk and explore the area on foot. They had cute demonstrations and a really cool museum. Overall it was a great way to experience Volendam and I will be staying again!"

"Pleasant overnight stay for a family event. The room was clean, warm and well presented. Staff attentive and friendly. Convenient walking distance from the railway station and close to town. Breakfast was a self service buffet which was very nice. Would be very happy to stay here again."
