「Step out of franchise and discover a 1910 brick built structure that has all the charm and details of an Abbeville historical treasure. The clean room included a quilt covered bed that was comfortable, and the room included refrigerator and microwave. The best part was continental breakfast on a lovely veranda. The site is its original center of downtown, so don’t expect gardens…but I was sad to leave the over-stuffed wicker chair and resume my trip home.」

「Had a nice corner room. Room was clean and of good size. Front desk staff was welcoming and efficient. Restaurant was open and food was good. Restaurant very convenient and service was good. A very nice place to stay if don't want big chain hotels.」

「Our room ended up having bed bugs. When I brought this up to the gentleman at the front desk, he said “I’ll have a manager contact you after an investigation. You probably brought them from home.” Wouldn’t give me the managers number, and couldn’t, and wouldn’t discuss anything else. Very disappointed in this property. I travel quite often for work, and frequent Holiday Inn. I absolutely will not be returning to a HI in the future. 」

「We had to cut our trip short because the friends we were visiting became ill. Expedia refused to give us the refund, even though we checked out on time, stating that the hotel staff would not respond to their calls. The hotel staff informed me that Expedia would call and put them on hold then disconnect the call every time. Pretty shady. I am disappointed that we could not get any refund at all even though we bought the insurance.」

「This property was a horrendous place. Why would Expedia even allow this property on their system. I have been using this service for several years and I’m completely shocked they would even consider listing this place. When we arrived to the property with the gravel parking lot which is no big deal but there were people cooking on a fire on the ground. Not great but I understand trying to be economical. I stopped at the office and when I went inside the office was a complete wreck no one was...

「The women who took care of the breakfast area was sweet and kind and helpful breakfast and coffe were great. The room itself was damp feeling and smelled musky. The inside looked of the room was aged. The outside on the building was painted nicely.i would not stay there again. I have been to other Wyndham properties and they are great」

「Whoever was in there before me must’ve liked popcorn because the carpet still had popcorn on it, especially underneath the desk. I just cleaned it up myself and did not say anything to the front desk receptionist. Bed was clean so I guess that’s all it matters.」
