「It was a lovely place to stay while in Dorset. It’s an 8 minute drive to the main Weymouth beach promenade. 36 minutes from Durdle Door, 46 minutes from Sherborne Castle.
The breakfast is really good and we left with full tummies ready for an adventure. However you do have to share a table with other guests at breakfast. If that is not your thing, maybe it’s not for you.」
「This is the perfect definition of a small english town stay. I loved the vibe of the rooms and the location. The rooms were clean and they provide complimentary biscuits and tea. The customer service was good as my boyfriend needed to catch a taxi somewhere and couldn’t do it himself so the Inn was able to call for him.
The breakfast felt a bit pricy, but there was a cold buffet in addition to any hot item on their menu. Their fresh honey comb was really cool!」
「Lovely little gem of a hotel. Within walking distance to everything we wanted. Melaney was lovely and couldn’t have done enough for us. The homemade banana bread in the room on arrival was a lovely touch. Breakfast was superb and there were plenty of options including the option to have takeaway breakfast prepared to eat on the beach. We will be back soon! 」

「Very enjoyable stay at The George. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great, didn't need lunch any of the days we stayed. Room 3 was perfect for a family, two separate rooms with a bathroom in between.」
「A great breakfast, the room we had was next door to the two water heaters, making the room very hot indeed other than that a good stay and staff were very attentive, will definitely go again but not in the same room, breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal parking is good also with no extra charges.」
「The location of the property was great very close to sea and town. The gentleman who checked us in was cheerful and helpful.
Unfortunately didn't get much sleep one of the other residents seemed to be up all night talking loudly with others.

「So lovely here the hotel is great all staff are so lovely will defo return next time i will ask for a bath in the bathroom as i did struggle with shower as i have disabilities but it was 2 late for me to get a room like that but thats my fault not theirs.The restaurant in there is on point had a lush steak n garlic mushrooms also crumble for pudding also was lovely and the breakfast was also fab the staff work hard in there and got to say prices at the bar are the best ever and we played bingo...
