"What a great place! A lot of historic charm and wildlife on the grounds - the staff were amazingly kind and gracious. Reception team was warm and welcoming. Excellent hot showers. In passing conversation, my husband mentioned that the Lake Naivasha Country club was where he proposed to me 25 years ago. The operations manager Danep somehow noted this and a few hours later at dinner arranged to have a beautiful cake made that said "marry me again". It was such a thoughtful touch! We will definitely be back!"

"Overall we had a pleasant stay. When we arrived they could not find our reservation, this does not surprise me because it was hard booking a room online or getting someone to respond to my emails. I finally booked a room on Expedia yet they still did not see my reservation. However, the staff was kind and did give us a room, we only had to wait a few minutes. There is no iron in the room so make sure you are prepared for that. There are also no wash clothes provided. And mostly there is going to be just 1 towel in the room. The cost of the room does include meals and the food was good. The stay was nice and the staff is friendly and helpful."

"Property refused to honor my Expedia reservation. As a result, my infant, wife and I had to find alternate accommodation at the last minute. Very stressful. Absolutely do not recommend this property. Avoid at all costs. "

"The staff made it for me. Very helpful and friendly. Rooms comfortable. Shower had to be run for a few minutes before water was hot enough. breakfast made and delivered to your room. Secure parking and security. Quiet. Close to amenities. "

"Great resort high in the mountains (2300m altitude) located on the right hand side of the Thompson Falls gorge, about 5 minutes from the falls itself. Beautiful rooms (don't forget to ask for fire to be lit before you go to sleep), excellent service and amazing food. Staff is friendly and helpful. Everything runs like a well oiled machine. Wholeheartedly recommended!"

"A beautiful mix of an older well maintained period building from the 1940's and well made rooms and cottages that stay within its original form. Placed in an excellent spot, by the river, with lots of bird and smaller antelope wildlife. Excellent staff, very friendly and extremely helpful. Internet could be much better."
