「Deep Sea Resort was a great place to stay in Kitale - our family of 4 stayed here for 2 nights when visiting Mt. Elgon National Park (~1 hour away from Kitale). The rooms, dining room and pool were clean (although the rooms smelled a bit musty), the staff was super nice/polite/helpful, the breakfast was delicious (eggs, pancakes, samosa, yams, fresh fruit and coffee) and there is a restaurant for lunch/dinner as well. The bed was fantastic - best night's sleep I have had since I arrived in Kenya...

From the manager who gave us a small discount because of our mistakes, the kitchen staff who gave us pots of hot water and breakfast after the breakfast time, the reception lady who looked for the bananas for us because we needed and even the bell boys who helped us to take our heavy luggage between the ground floor and second...
