Hotel was VERY outdated. Restaurant/bar not open. No coffee anywhere, including room. Saw one other guest the entire stay, parking lot empty, yet said "One room left" when booking. Nice view.

I really liked the location, it was an older hotel, that showed, the staff was very helpful, that was great. The on-site restaurant was closed, that was a bummer. But overall a good stay.

The property in general needs some work. Landscaping and a good pressure wash and /or paint job. The whole place has been neglected for some time. Some thing was dribbled on the floorall through the lobby when I checked in. It was still there when I checked out.

5/5 Stars, will definitely be returning here. Only oddity was the room was listed as “ocean view” but turned out it’s blocked by a hedge so no view from the room but it was a rainy day so minor detail.

We will be back

The view was amazing, the kids loved the pool, pet friendly, staff was very helpful and nice. You can clearly tell they have fell on some hard times but the staff tries very hard to be as accommodating and hospitable as possible which means more to me than it being outdated and a few amenities being down.

Great front office lady Building is run down neglected roofs leaking wall papers falling off 1st room.they gave us was not clean looked like someone was still in it 2nd room had swamp on deck Fridge didnt work and bathroom floor was stick due to urine on floor. Thete was laundry in hallways on every floor we ended up going to different hotel after 2 bad room they said they didn't have anymore room but there wasess than 10 in lott all day and night way to ruin my wifes birthday hand to get a cheaper hotel with no veiw but at least it was clean

Given that Shilo Inn is still recovering from effects of Covid, our stay lived up to expectations. When we made our reservations wee were advised that food and beverage service would not be available at the hotel; but very adequate services were available within walking distance. Our room was clean. The hotel staff was available whenever we went thru the lobby. The staff were very helpful. Under the circumstances the accommodations including an ocean view were bargain priced. We would be happy to stay again.
