「We were evacuated to a Holiday Inn in Westhill at early morning because of a gas leak. The staff were most helpful, the breakfast the previous morning was sufficient. As we are both in our eighties was quite stressful. Ann」

「Pictures no resemblance to hotel rooms. We found out that it’s two buildings and we were staying in the other half next door to reception. Parking, was told it’s about £15 for a night and isn’t onsite, however road parking is free from 6pm to 8am and then £4/hour up to 2hrs. The building has a manual keypad on the door which was broken and the door was just open. No reception or staff to monitor who is coming or going. You then have to traverse a maze of corridors and staircases with unclear...

「The Station Hotel has a very convenient location—right across from the train station / Union Square and within walking distance of the city centre. The price is reasonable, which makes it appealing for budget travellers. However, I wouldn’t stay here again. 「Lovely staff, very friendly. Room was far too hot and air con only blew out hot hair despite being on the cold setting. We were on the lower ground floor so we couldn’t open our windows properly without having the curtains open which meant people walking down the side street could see directly in to our room. One of the windows was locked too. Bar closed early and would only serve bottled wine or beer. 」
