"The private beach at the home was great, so relaxing, bald Eagle flew right over us, tubes to float in river. Home was very large, clean and well stocked with essentials. "When I reserved my stay for 34 days (I explained this was not a vacation, I was doing an externship for school), I was told the” cottage” was booked for 3 of the 5 weeks, but an art studio was available to rent. I specifically asked to confirm there was a private bathroom, high speed WiFi, and air conditioning. Every time I needed a utensil, it was wherever I first looked! "The hostess reached out well before our stay with check in details and other local information. We stayed in early May. The main house and cottage are located down a long drive. The cottage sits a little off to the side with the bedroom/office facing the river. The layout of the cottage is very efficient. We especially enjoyed the front mudroom and staging area perfect for storing muddy hiking boots and backpacks. Our week long state was magical. Coffee in the Adirondack chairs next to the river...
