「Good staff, good accommodations, and good breakfast」

「This was the perfect motel between Albuquerque and Austin. Everything was perfect. Loved the recliner and breakfast!」

「We loved the historic story and charm of the property. Our Parlor Suite was spacious and well-appointed. The pool area was lovely. Restaurant was fine but certainly not over the top great. We will certainly be back!」

「The pool and Hot tub were still "closed for season" even though is was the last day in May and the temperature was 91° outside. Several of the buttons on the elevator had fallen off or were taped on with Scotch tape. The parking lot behind the hotel was unclear if it was for the hotel or the deli that was next door.」

「This is a small Mom and Pop type hotel. It's not the usual type that I expected. The website is a little deceiving, but the room was extremely clean and comfortable. It was very quiet during the night. Please don't let the look of the hotel keep you from staying for a short stay, because although it was not what I expected, I was quite pleased. If I'm in Lamesa again, I will definitely make a reservation.🤗」

「The room was quiet. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but clean and functional. In the shower the shower water draining into bathtub would not flow out. The lighting in the room could have been more inviting, not so institutional.」

「Large motel, 3 wings, each had an ice machine, all were broken. Tv only had about 5 channels, 3 in English. Breakfast was waffles, cereal and cookies plus coffee milk and juice」

「Let me start with we’ve stayed at this property many time! The room was clean and nice…. The thing that made this stay so awful was this horrible smell that made you want to just vomit. It was an odor of backed up plumbing and getting into the elevator the smell intensified! The staff was notified and she said she was going to get the plumber to check it out. The smell was still there the next morning and still very strong!」

「The staff were very nice and helpful. The only good thing I can say. The property was dark and it was very hard to see room numbers. I had to have my 12 year old walk around and find the room. There were a whole bunch of bugs outside the door of the room and every time we opened the doors the bugs came in. There were tiny black bugs in both beds. The whole room was incredibly tiny. There were two full beds in a room too small for even one full bed, and only room for one person to walk in any...

「I know what to reasonably expect for hotels at this price level and we are very disappointed. There is no amenity except one bar soap. There is a coffee maker but no coffee nor tea. The worst is the towels. They are very old. The we found the bed sheet has stain and the pillows smells. This is close to unacceptable.」
