"We really enjoyed our stay at bear cabin .The cabin had a nice cozy feel and we loved all the bear touches !The view from the house was beautiful! We enjoyed taking the row boat out and took in the scenery. Would definitely stay again!"

"We loved our stay at this house. The location was perfect - lakefront with shallow water at the dock, and a very quick walk to the community beach. Our kids had a great time swimming and playing in the sand. For part of our week-long stay, we had the maximum number of guests (12), and the house was cozy while allowing space for everyone and included amenities for all. There are two large dining tables, great bedroom layouts (at the max, we had 7 kids staying, and they loved the bunk beds and having their own space on the third floor), enough canoes, kayaks, and life vests for everyone to participate at the same time, and enough outdoor seating for all to enjoy a campfire together. The house is very charming with a lot of character, and includes a wrap -around porch, a fireplace, a piano, two sets of stairs from the first to second floor (which the kids loved), and Adirondack theme throughout. The house was very well-appointed, and we didn't need to bring any of our own kitchen utensils, storage wrap or containers, or cleaning supplies. The house even came with laundry detergent and dryer sheets. I communicated with the owner throughout the week, and he was super responsive (within minutes) every time."

"Well appointed apartment that ideally located for all sorts of outdoor adventures. Just steps from the Adirondack rail trail to Lake Placid or Tupper Lake, plenty of nerby hiking including high peaks and lots of varied paddling opportunities. Great hosts mase for an easy stay."
"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying there. "
