“Cute room. Never cleaned the room. Never replaced the coffee cups, no clean glasses, didn’t restocked the coffee, didn’t empty the garbage, didn’t take dirty towels away or bought clean towels. Never cleaned the room. No staff. 1 person at check in.”
“The space was perfect for our needs. The mini fridge in the room was very handy, and the shared kitchenette space was a nice touch.
We really enjoyed the mix of vintage and new! The room was right out of central casting, but updated with a really nice shower and sink and TV availability.
It was super close to the downtown of Saranac Lake, and we could walk to a nice hike.”
“OLD!!! Not what we expected. My wife wanted to leave when we walked in the door. I told her everything was booked in the area, and we made due. Bed was comfortable, but found flea beetles on the bed when we woke up. Texted the number in the lobby to communicate with no response now in ten hours.
other than the bugs, small fridge available, microwave, small coffee maker, towels and shower work, but shower was all dark colored grout around the bottom. Bathroom very small, one roll of……
“It was a contact less reservation. Didn't really care for that. No tissues, coffee, tea or hair dryer. Room looked like it had been recently updated and was in great shape. I recommend the Cascade Inn as a good place to stay.”
“The room was very clean. The only drawback from my perspective was that we could not walk to downtown as there were no sidewalks until you got to the Italian restaurant near the red light. (sorry, I can't remember the name of it)”
“Hotel I believe is new, so what could be wrong? I have no complaints. It was clean and comfy. If I had to look for issues, I would say use trash can liners. Our bathroom trash can had bio debri plastered to the bottom. I expected Cambria to be more soundproof from neighboring rooms but it wasn’t bad, tolerable. Dish TV was in and out due to wind. Hotel would be my choice next visit to Lake Placid”
“Our room wasn’t as clean as I would have liked it to be. The hallways weren’t vacuumed and had lots of debris on them.
The bed was comfortable and clean. So we were happy with that.”
“Bathroom sink drained exceptionally slow - sliding door didn’t lock - carpet was vacuumed but could use a good shampooing. Room was way too warm-it was as if the heat was on but no thermostat in the room so we had to sleep with the sliding door open which was very noisy with people next door using very foul language smoking weed on the balcony -coughing and talking extremely loudly. Every time they left their room they slammed the door so hard it shook the building!”
