Agate Beach Hotels

"The room was awesome with 2 spacious king size beds and a balcony that looked over the expansive beach and ocean. Comfy robes were provided that kept us warm while enjoying wine on the balcony in late March. The staff were very friendly and informative of local spots to check out and tide pool locations for our kids. I would definitely stay here again!"

"Our stay was good. The grounds are well kept. Our room had a great view of the bay. Staff was friendly. The only negative was that you can hear everything from our neighbors. I’ve never been to a place with absolutely no sound proofing. We knew when the people were urinating, showering, walking and being intimate. "

"The room was clean and smelled fresh bedding and everything seemed good a little wear and tear visible on most of the furnishings - except the chair… the first thing you see is this beat up chair in the corner with a completely cracked vinyl seat cushion and tape on parts of the fabric and legs- it was very off putting right of the bat and made me almost leave. I saw another chair like that in a common area, also. Buy new chairs or just remove the old ones, it really looks bad! And immediately I had a bad feeling about staying. I don’t understand why cleaning staff or someone wouldn’t flag it and have it replaced or removed. The location is good with a beautiful wide beach. Staff was friendly. "

"The food was great. Staff was good, except for the longer wait for a room. We got there at 4pm. Was told from the lady that the room was not ready and would get a call once avaliable. So we went and had dinner upstairs. After dinner we just sat upstairs waiting for the call. After 50min I was over waiting and wanted to check on our room. She says yes its avaliable. What happened to my phone call because its been ready for a little while? Not happy about that. The room was nice though and we stayed 2 nights. Last night we ordered room service which was charged to room. Automatically 20% gratuity which whatever but then charge a CAT tax, State tax on our meal, so an extra $52.40 on top of our room cost. It was like an extra $15.00 added to meal cost. So just be aware of costs. "

"This was my first B&B experience and I absolutely loved it. The room was beautiful the breakfast was amazing. I loved the staff. My only 2 sort of complaints are they have a disposable utensils drawer but if you want utensils.. Bring your own. The other is no A/C... I dont"

"Super location on the beach and a wonderfully charming hotel. The rooms are individually decorated in concert with the literary theme of the hotel, which is filled with books in every nook and cranny, and furnished with comfy club chairs. I had a delightful breakfast after my complimentary cortado. It's worth a detour or a destination weekend. "
