It was an wonderful experience to stay in Courtyard by Marriott Agra, which is a elegant and peaceful hotel. The room is cozy and clean, and we enjoyed the food a lot in MoMo Cafe. Many thanks for the hospitality that all the hotel staffs showed us. It's a pity that my friend and I only stayed for one night. We would love to spend more days with the Hotel next time.

A great property, very closeby to Taj Mahal. The pool side area was amazing. The dining area beautifully construed with delectable items that were kid friendly. Even the play area was good. During my stay in the weekend, we got to watch a magic show and a puppet show, which my kids enjoyed a lot. Highly recommendable for families.

This hotel needs reno. Rooms are old and dated. Pool is murky and dirty. Food is good.

We wanted to visit the Taj. We arrived in Agra in the afternoon. The travel desk of the hotel arranged airport pickup, a tour guide+car to the Taj for the first afternoon, and a follow on early-morning visit back to the Taj (without a guide) for our second day. Arrangements were easy to make, and very efficient given we were in Agra for less than 24 hours.
Both Marriott Agra and their travel desk staff (Mr Narendra was the person on call during our visit) made this trip exactly what we were looking for.

Great Hotel but Service Issues Lower the Experienc
This hotel is overall very nice — I wouldn’t give it five stars, but the value for the price (around $80/night) is solid. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had, and the room was spacious and clean. I’ve traveled extensively around the world and especially in recent years, and I appreciate when things are done well — and some things here really were.
However, the check-in experience was extremely disappointing. The front desk clerk was aggressively pushing a dinner package on us, despite us clearly being in a hurry to go sightseeing in Agra. It was pushy and uncomfortable — not how a welcome should feel.
Later, we decided to try the head massage in the spa, and that turned out to be a big mistake. It was by far the worst spa experience I’ve had. I had to ask the therapist six times to stop hurting me. My daughter also had to tell her therapist to be gentler. Mine was outright rude and ended the session early. While they waived the fee, I was visibly upset — and in Europe, or even in many parts of Asia, this situation would’ve been handled much more seriously.
Service matters. A beautiful hotel and good food can't make up for experiences that leave you feeling disrespected or hurt.
