「Villa Massis is a jungle paradise! It is situated amongst giant trees and large flowering tropical plants, right next to the quiet Mopan River. The pool was beautiful to swim in and lounge around. The staff are incredibly friendly: from the owner Larry to all the support staff, they really want guests to have a good time! They are proud of what this part of Belize has to offer. 「Just came back from a 3 night stay and what a perfect place it was to end our week in Belize. The grounds are beautiful, the staff accommodating, and fresh coffee waiting for you in the morning. We saw toucans, monkeys, agoutis and some other animals on the property. Speaking of- our favorite staff member- Mama (orange cat) was very welcoming and enjoyed spending much of her time with us. It was about $10usd for a taxi into town and Mike was great about getting us one. Very close to Mayan ruin...

「We had an amazing experience staying here. It was close to the shuttle bus, market, restaurants. Having a kitchen made it easier to pack food for next day. Our host was very very helpful! She suggested local restaurant to try and helped us to find a last minute replacement tour early morning as our got cancelled late at night! We were able to leave our luggages there while we went to a half day tour, even after check out time. I highly recommend staying here! 」

「Had a two bedroom villa with 3 beds. Very clean and nice with small individual pool. Nice space to come back to after excursions. About a 30 min walk from downtown San Ignacio which wouldn't want to do at night based on having to walk on the street. Can get cabs arranged from hotel.」
