"Front Desk person was very friendly and efficient. Got us checked in early. Room was clean and maintained. Comfortable beds! TV cable did not work well. guide not lined up with the TV channels on the TV. I forget a pillow and you were helpful in retrieving it from my room and having it at the desk for pick up by a friend of mine. Breakfast was good value for overall price paid. As was the guest room. Thank you. "

"Hello,I wanted to reach out regarding a couple of concerns our group experienced during our stay. When we arrived, we noticed a significant amount of mouse droppings in the basement area and even in some of the beds. This was obviously very unsettling for everyone and required us to spend time cleaning before we could comfortably use the space.Additionally, the leg of the kitchen table broke when we placed a few normal household items on it—specifically a piece of luggage and some groceries. It appeared the table may have already been weak or damaged, as there was not an unusual amount of weight on it.Given these issues, we were hoping you might consider waiving the cleaning fee. We do not want to leave a negative review, but the situation was pretty upsetting for our group and not what we expected.We appreciate you taking the time to look into this and hope we can come to a fair resolution.Thank you."

"This property is a stand alone carriage house. Rustic and aesthetically pleasing from the outside. The pictures on the site are accurate as far as the inside space. We ran into some issues with the heating (the small gas fireplace was the primary source of heat and didn’t do well heating the large space downstairs or upstairs. The pilot light went out more than ones and we had to resort to A small electric heater in the bedroom and living room that did not do the job. It appeared that this rental wasn’t used all winter or at least wasn’t cleaned before we arrived. The fields and sunsets were beautiful that being said the bitter cold country setting surely drew cold field mice inside for warmth throughout the winter, there was evidence of that.as The kitchen gas stove was great though not cleaned prior to arrival. Advise that you bring your own bath gel and shampoo. It’s a great space and probably more appealing in the summer for a family. It has great potential. The host was responsive. "

"Much needed family retreat! We lost our daughter-in-law last year, so we postponed our family vacation until this year. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. It was a great time of healing and renewal. The house is charming, but a little drafty. Plenty of rooms for our large family. We had a bit of trouble getting in on the first day (not the fault of the host), but Vasili was very responsive and we figured out the problem. Beautiful location!"
