I booked on June 15, 2022 and arrived on 6/27/22. The hot tub was empty so I sent communication and was told to fill it no problem. Well when I finally called to ask how to turn it on I was told “oh there was a miscommunication it went out last week please do not use it”. Same for the clothes dryer, “oh it went out a few days ago, the entire inside drum of the dryer was gone and it looked like it had been that way for a while. The skylights in the restrooms leak. Lastly, on our return to the VRBO from being out on the 28th we discovered that the “care taker” of the house and her small child also stay there so it’s very awkward because you see them in a tiny room with a glass door so really it’s not a private stay. I reached out several times and was told they would consider some type of refund for the inconveniences we had. Out of a 3 night stay they refunded a total of 6% of the fee for the inconveniences. Don’t get me wrong the house is nice but when you are booking and see the pictures and when you look for a property with laundry and you don’t get it it’s very frustrating that they see that it’s only a 6% of a refund. We had a huge inconvenience that we had to go to a laundry mat to get our laundry done for our next destination. I’ve never had to confirm that everything is in working order but I guess now I will.
