This was an amazing property! Everything about the room was very good. The hot tub made it extra special. We hope to visit Iceland again and see the contrast in Summer and would definitely stay here again!

If I could give this place 10 stars I would! It had a private hot tub as advertised which was wonderful. We saw the Northern lights every night we were here. No tours needed, just look out your window. It was appointed with a kitchen which we used on several occasions to get a break from the food prices lol. Overall a 10 star from me.

Just a nice property with high-end finishes. I would stay again with no question.
Location was also perfect, close to the city but far enough away to not have light pollution interferring with northern lights which we got to see!

This was our favorite place that we stayed in Iceland. Private hot tub overlooking a beautiful vista. Very comfortable and modern. It was compact, but very nicely appointed. The northern lights alluded us, but this would be a great place to see them. Less than a ten minute easy drive into town.

One of the best properties we stayed at in Iceland. Well stocked with everything you need! Clean and spacious. Communication was easy with the staff. Only thing missing was the Aurora Borealis- those darn clouds

Serenity in modern comfort
We truly enjoyed our stay here. The room was modern, spacious, and very comfortable—it felt luxurious. The bed was firm yet cozy, and the view from the room was beautiful and unobstructed. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like complimentary chocolates and drinks.
The kitchen was well-equipped with all the essentials for cooking, including pots, pans, seasonings, oil, an oven, and a grill. We did encounter a small issue with the hot water, but it was resolved promptly by the staff.
During our two-night stay, we were lucky enough to see the aurora borealis right from the property. The location was private and serene, and the hot tub on the patio was a wonderful bonus.
Overall, this was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely return.

This is a very modern property in a great location. It was very clean and had most things you would need. Communication was very good and the property is easy to find and access is via a key lock box. It had a couple of small issues, the toilet seat was loose, a couple of light bulbs were now working, the edging on the bathroom door was hanging off and there are no hooks or shelfs to put anything. These are all issues that could be sorted, but as we were only there for one night, we didn't worry about them. One big plus is the hot tub, it was great sitting out looking at the view and just relaxing after a days hiking. It was pouring with rain, but the hot tub is undercover. We stayed in a one bedroom unit, but it looked like the two bedroom hot tubes we not covered, so might be worth checking this. Would definitely stay again on our next trip to this amazing country.

Convenient 12mins drive from Akureyri. Nice quiet location, private hot tub, fridge, oven and bbq grill. Comes with pots, pans and utensils. Do note that there’s no microwave. Enjoyed our stay there.

The property is in great condition and is fully equipped with a kitchen, an outdoor grill.

We stayed at North Mountain Suites as a family of 4 adults and one toddler and had such a wonderful experience. The rooms were very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, which made traveling with a toddler so much easier. One of the highlights was definitely the hot tub with stunning views of the city—such a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. Overall, a great stay for families, and we would happily come back again!

This was the best stay we had in all of Iceland! We stayed in the single bungalows. Beautiful up north, quiet and included your own private hot tub on the deck! Had a full kitchen too.

The place was clean and newly renovated. Spacious for a family of 4. Nice, well stacked kitchen. Amazing views from the terrace. Very quiet. The hot tub was fun and a great way to relax after a day. We really enjoyed our stay!

Amazing views, super responsive host
We booked 2 different units (kids vs. adults) and everyone had an amazing time. Sadly it didn't have laundry which would have been nice half-way through our trip but nor did they say it did so it's not a complaint, just a comment.
Overall a great experience and you'll be impressed with the host, felt like they would do anything to make us happy and comfortable !
