“Exceptional hotel, excellent staff and a really enjoyable stay”

“It has the potential to be very good. The property size is very good and the gardens are all private and not over looked. The issue is it needs a lot of refurbishment. Nothing totally fundamental but to give you a theme we had a 3 bed villa. None of the doors properly close so you get bugs coming in at night you’re not careful. The air con leakes when you have it on for more than 5 mins. The outside tables wobble so much if you put a coffee on them it wins be there for long. The kitchen tap was……

“At a superficial level, this hotel is stunningly opulent with regular use of water features. I walk with the aid of a cane because of balance issues and the hotel offered too many risks of falling. As a result I didn't use the spa or plunge pool in my room. Staff were consistently brilliant. My room had 6 component and was spotless.”

“The property was delightful- so esthetically done up and with such thoughtful details. The staff was very courteous and helpful and always so good with any requests we made. The hospitality was so heartwarming- we were served hot tea and cookies when we arrived and were served lunch as soon as we were ready for it. The swimming pool was perfect for our 5-year old and he loved being in there. The breakfast was all home made and fresh with different items served each time- the yogurt, amlou, honey……

Situated close to the city walls, taxis and transport can drop you right at the door — a real advantage when you see so many tourists dragging their suitcases through the Medina. Being on the edge means zero hassle, yet it’s still only a 15‑minute walk to the main square. Hamid and the team are exceptional. The setting is beautiful, the location is ideal, and the breakfast is excellent. The team looked after our family with genuine care — nothing was ever too……

“Riad is a little difficult to find. There is no name plate on the street like neighbor riads to direct you. I will upload a photo later to help. Staff was great and opened door quickly when you rang doorbell. Partner loved the room design. Bed was good and the bath included necessary products and accessories women may appreciate. One recommendation is to avoid the room on ground floor located next to the kitchen. You hear everything and likewise they will hear everything you do. Because staff……
